Our famous, homemade Bowgie quiches and Sunday Roasts are just a couple of the highlights that bring people from far and wide.

Mouth-watering meals incorporate prime ingredients and Cornish produce whenever possible and cater for a range of tastes, diets and appetites including vegetarian, gluten and dairy-free.

You can tuck into Bowgie delights all day, choosing from a choice of dining areas. The Bowgie has lots of seating inside and out so whether you prefer to dine indoors or outside in the beer garden – there’s something for everyone. The view over Crantock beach is stunning, wherever you sit!

The daily specials board is guaranteed to take you from hungry to happy and sensational sides include extra-special coleslaw, side salad, onion rings, garlic bread and fries.

If you appreciate that life is short and eat dessert first, our homemade apple crumble, warm chocolate fudge cake and sticky toffee pudding are just a few delights to tempt you off your diet. Our homemade treacle tart is made from a family recipe used for over 40 years, and has been a favourite with diners for generations. We also have gorgeous Warm Chocolate Brownies for those who are gluten free and vegan desserts too!

We have array of dishes to suit you inlcuding Homemade Ratatouille served with rice, Grilled Tuna Steak, Seasonal Salads, Quarter Chicken, Hickory Smoked Ribs to name a few, plus a whole Special’s Board of Homemade Gluten Free Curries.

 Our fully stocked bar is crammed with local and guest ales and ciders (mulled if you’re trying to warm up!) and a variety of wines to compliment meals or to be enjoyed on their own. The Bowgie Inn are proud winners of a 2020 Great British Pub Award for ‘Staff Welfare’, recognising all of our efforts over the various lockdowns and throughout the pandemic.

We are also honoured to have won a 2020 BII NITAs Award for ‘Staff Wellbeing’. 2020 was a year like no other and we strived to support our fabulous Bowgie team in every way possible, so we’re overjoyed to have been rewarded for our efforts.

Our very own Sally Pickles received an Unsung Hero Award in the Cornwall Tourism Awards, to recognise all of the incredible hard work she has been doing throughout the pandemic.

As well as a variety of hot drinks, from a proper English brew by Teapigs, various coffees or luxury hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows! For the more adventurous visitors, The Bowgie offers a range of syrups to spice up hot drinks including almond, gingerbread, mint and cinnamon.
