With no set date on when the coronavirus restrictions will be lifted, we have joined forces with Newquay-based Issey Yoga to live stream a free yoga class for anyone who wishes to join in!
At The Bowgie, we always run weekly wellbeing sessions every Monday morning for the team and even in lockdown, it’s something we wanted to carry on. Yoga is such a beneficial hobby to enjoy during the pandemic as it’s so helpful for the mind and body at a really stressful time. We want as many people to benefit from it as possible, so we’ve decided to live stream a class on our Facebook page to reach a bigger audience!
Issey Knight, who runs Issey Yoga, will be running the virtual class from 9.55am on Monday 11th May, which will be a Vinyasa Beginners Flow session so it’s suitable for everyone.
We would love all our followers to join The Bowgie team in our regular Monday morning wellbeing yoga on our Facebook page, from the comfort of your own home. You may be a complete beginner, or an advanced yogi – the class will be suitable for all abilities to allow everyone to join in and reap all the benefits of a yoga class, for free!
It’s an incredibly stressful time for people with high levels of anxiety around health, job security and finances. We’re passionate about being there for our community in any way we can during the lockdown, so to be able to team up with Issey and get people involved in yoga is fantastic.
It’s only a small gesture, but it’s a positive and pro-active way of supporting not only our team, but anyone else who might benefit. Some people cope well with isolation and not seeing their friends and family every day, but some of us need some more interaction and ways of structuring our days. We hope to everyone on Monday for some relaxing, rejuvenating and stress-relieving yoga to start the week!
