We just thought we’d put a little blog together to let you know that during our Ale and Cider Festival The Prevention are set to play here on Friday 28th August from 8pm.
There’s a little ‘je ne sais quoi’ about these guys that seems to fill the room with excitement. maybe it’s the way they strum, maybe it’s the way they sway or maybe its the way they sing… who knows. All I know is these guys are good and their massive Facebook following proves it.
Legend has it that an ancient Shaman provided them with special scarves that give them magical musical abilities…. We don’t know if we believe such mystical tales, but we can confirm the The Prevention do drape their instruments and mike stands with scarves that in some lights do appear to be twinkling in an enchanted manner…
Their varied set lists always include classics to impress every rock fan. You can expect songs such as Sweet Child of Mine, Tie Your Mother Down,, Livin On A Prayer as well as Welcome to the Jungle, Separate Ways and More Than a Feeling.
So witness The Prevention and their mysterious scarves for yourself right here at The Ale and Cider Festival at The Bowgie Inn, Crantock on the 28th August…. but don’t touch the scarves – they don’t like that.
