Sun, sea and sand – summer in Cornwall is the best!! Our perfect day is spent relaxing in the beer garden with a pint of something ice cold and a big bowl of cheesy chips with the sun on our faces after a dip in the ocean. Check out what we’re most looking forward to this season!

FINALLY! We have been waiting all winter for its arrival and it is here. Thank you, sweet sunshine, we have missed your delicious rays on our faces. Vitamin D and vitamin SEA!
2. The Sea
It’s getting warmer and looking more and more inviting every day – who’s jumping in for a dip?
3. The Sand
Get in-between our toes! Lying around on the beach with a good book is one of our favourite pastimes.
4. The Beer Garden
Ours is one of dreams. Overlooking the sparkling Atlantic Ocean, there’s nowhere more serene to sink a pint or two and super chill.
5. The Coastal Walks
The amble around West Pentire headland to Polly Joke is unrivalled for views and is a lovely circular walk that starts and ends right at our front door.
6. Sunday Roast in the Sunshine
Gather your loved ones and tuck into an enormous portion of Bowgie roast – crispy roast potatoes, lashings of gravy, fluffy Yorkshire puds… Drool!
7. Cold Gin on Hot Days
Try one of over 30 Cornish gins that stock the shelves of The Bowgie Inn. Perfectly paired with locally produced Sea Buck Tonic. If you like gin, you’re in the right place!
8. Sunsets
We may be biased, but we truly believe nowhere beats Crantock sunsets. Hues of pink and gold ignite the sky and nowhere is more beautiful than Cornwall.
9. Surfing
The surf is small and clean and the wetsuits are thinner (and occasionally non-existent if you’re feeling brave!) Surf’s up everyone!
10. Non-stop Service
The fun never has to end at The Bowgie. We serve food and drink all day from 11am during the school holidays and at weekends – wahoo!
