You might remember that in 2020 we smashed our fundraising target of £50,000 for the incredible Cornwall Hospice Care!
Well this August bank holiday we’re bringing back our beloved Bowgie Ale & Cider Festival, to make another substantial donation to this incredible local charity.
Sally has been fundraising for this wonderful Cornish charity for over 12 years, in some cases going to pretty extreme lengths – trekking to the Everest base camp, completing an expedition in the scorching Sahara, and even…climbing Mount Kilimanjaro!? She was joined by daughter Tish on a trek on The Great Wall of China and a hike in Iceland.
But don’t worry, we’ve made it a lot easier to raise money for Cornwall Hospice Care this summer and we promise there will be absolutely no trekking involved (unless it’s across the stunning Crantock sand dunes of course).
Cornwall Hospice Care is a local charity that provides care for those with terminal illnesses, working across Mount Edgcumbe Hospice and St Julia’s Hospice in Hayle as well as running multiple community support hubs. They are a completely independent charity and are not part of the NHS so rely on donations from the Cornish community to offer their care free of charge.
With your help, we can make another significant donation that really can change lives.
So, head down to The Bowgie for the best bank holiday weekend AND raise money for an incredible cause.
We can’t wait to see you from the 24th-26th August!
Keep an eye out for soon-to-be-announced info about The Bowgie Ale Festival, including which other local charities will be there and what live bands will be performing, as well as more details on Ale Fest activities that are fun for all the family!
