We are so pleased to be collaborating with our friends at C-bay to raise funds to place a defibrillator in the West Pentire car park!

We are £360 away from our target of £2,999 – so close, so we’re calling on our amazing Bowgie, Crantock, Cornwall and Cornwall lovers community to help push this over the line!

We love welcoming the huge numbers of visitors who come to beautiful Crantock – some of whom have been coming for generations. And we know how lucky we are to enjoy unspoilt views and gorgeous scenery – but sometimes being more remote and secluded can have disadvantages in a medical emergency.

At the moment, the closest defibrillators to The Bowgie and C-Bay are in the National Trust car park at Crantock beach, and at Crantock village’s Memorial Hall – both at least a 20 minute walk away, and every second counts.

The quicker someone suffering a cardiac arrest receives defibrillation and care, the greater their chances of survival, so we thought it was time that one was installed one at our end of gorgeous Crantock beach.
