You have been making pancakes once a year for as long as you have been able. After enduring lumpy batter, scolding oil, stained ceilings and burned bottoms you have finally got this pancake thing sussed. So here at the Bowgie Inn, Crantock, we think it’s time you upped your game. Substantially.
Here are some ways for you to impress your friends and truly push your pancake skills to the max.

We bet you’ve taken one look at these and already decided these are a must. You are already planning other Disney characters to draw in your saucepan out of pancake batter and some of you have even considered a detailed pancake self-portrait. Before you get started, click the link and have a little read of the instructions – it’s always best to do it that way round – we speak from experience!

We agree, these are more pancake-shaped cakes than pancakes in the traditional sense of the word, but look how beautiful they look. Imagine how fantastic they are going to taste….then stop imagining and make it happen!

You say tomato I say tomayto, they say kebob we say kebab.
However you say it, these little beauties are delicious… and because they are so small that must mean the calories don’t count, right??

Yes, you can put bacon inside your pancakes. You really can. You also really, really want to so go for it! Imagine biting into the battery, bacony goodness. We know your mouth is watering and you are considering other meat to add to the batter…we can’t help but think a chorizo one would be amazing.
At this point, we are feeling quite smug. We know we’ve just changed your pancake life for the pancake better (or should that be batter!?) so go forth friend and get your pancake groove on.
